I am building an open source browser based MMO called new world.
It is well into development now. the game is completely opensource and it will be free to play.
Most of the game images are from this website. I have attached an Image of what I have so far.
I could not find Battle Mech type sprites. So my question is, does anyone feel like drawing me some?
No pay, just an open source dude looking for another opensource dude to help him out.
PM me if you want to help, or if you know where I can find some Mech Sprites.
PNG images, 64X64. I am using Html5canvas so that is all I need is a nice looking PNG.

Game is about a distant planet where comapanies are battling for resources like crystals for shiping back to earth.
The style is similar to the free civ stuff already on this website, this is mostly what I have used so far.
Here's a preview. Rendered from this. How many frames of animation do you need, and which directions?

Truth be told I didnt plan on making them animated because its browser based, so it not exaclty real time, so all I really need is up, down left and right. What you have there would be fine for down.
If you want to add animations for walking as well I will add them in, but only if you want to, someone else might use them for another game anyway. As for how many frames, I am a coder not an artist, I have done basic sprites in the past. I suppose 4-5 would be necessary for a fluid motion.

Alright, I've uploaded it here. I went for 16 frames of animation and all 8 directions, so you'll have to cut out the ones that suit your needs best.

Only problem now is, you've made the other units look static, you'll need to do all the other units too :P
You deserve to enter the remix challenge more than any of the currents, why dont you enter it?

And I second what Danimal said, you should enter the remix comp, unless you have something more impressive in the works...
