A very angry four frame tree stump with a shadow. The frames are ready/attack/hurt/growl. The ready/growl frames are meant to work as a simple idle animation. In the game engine I was using, the creatures float slightly above their shadows. This is one of about seventy monsters in the Loyalty Lies set... if they are not all uploaded yet then check back in a few days ;)
Around ten years ago now, I tried to use a game engine to make an RPG by myself. I spent hundreds of hours on it, but I never did finish it. I haven't lost interest, but my skillset has changed. I don't really do pixel work anymore, I do flash and 3d instead. Considering that, it seems silly not to share these and see if anyone else can figure out what to use them for. If you want to find other stuff I made for the same project, look for "Loyalty Lies" ;)
(If you are curious about the sizing and colours I chose, they were made to work with the Well of Souls game engine. To put them up here, I made them transparent PNGs instead... but do what you need to make them work for your game.)

All your art is truly great.
I'm developing some RPG game and I would like to use your art. Credits will be given ofc.
I also would like to ask to to create some front enemies. I mean, they looking at the player instead being side faced.
Would that be any possible?
Hi there!
Thanks so much, and I am glad you like it :) I would love to see your game when it is done.
I don't mind if someone else wants to make "front facing" versions of the enemies and characters, but I just don't have the time too. I am aleady working on several 3d and flash games, I don't have any more spare time.
Sorry, but thanks for your interest ;)
