So I'm looking (in the near/kinda near) future to possibly pay for some artwork. I would/can do it myself, but with school, part-time job, and doing everything else in the game it is getting pretty cumbersome.
Just a quick quote about how much you personally feel it would be, you can personal message me if you'd rather.
***edit:Base Sprites are Made****
This is what I'd like:
----------------------------Important-----------------------------------------------
-Multiple hair styles (4-6 for guys, 6-8 for girls) ---This is the important part
-Acessories (Have fun!: bows, hair bands, earings, blush.. mustashes, beards, glasses. Idk, go wild)
-3 to 4 dresses
-3 to 4 shirts (Different styles, they can be close but no simple color changes, I can do that)
----------------------------Not that important---------------------------------------
-3 to 4 pants -There isn't much there to work with.. so I'm not sure on this
-possibly different shoes.. though I'm not sure how you'd accomplish that with how small it is.
Thanks guys!!
For those who are wondering why I am not using LPC...
1st- Most Important: My zombies are all in this style and I started making them before I knew about this website. (http://opengameart.org/content/zombie-rpg-sprites)
2nd- I have a limited amount of material I am allowed to use from LPC character wise. Redshrike did an awesome job, but without accessories its kinda hard for me to use. Plus Its a lot more work to commission with that many frames in each walkcycle.
**The Bases can be found by just going to my profile as well**
I don't blame you for going with a simpler base for your game--the LPC one can be a bit time-intensive (to say the least). With this base, I doubt that these various accessories will be too time-consuming (and thus expensive) to make.
@Redshrike- (Sorry, have I been mispelling your username this whole time??)
Thanks for understanding, I just don't have the assets to use the sprites.. Oh well, OGA can have a zelda/pokemon style character set as well :).
@Everyone-
I decided to get the character bases done. My old main guy I had was pretty bland looking so I updated the style and its more appealing now. I think I'll eventually take the hat, shoes, shirt, and pants off of my old sprite and have them as separate pngs for people to use as well..
If I use these sprites with the LPC sprites, I wonder what it'll look like... Zelda meets pygmy men, WOO!!!
@William-
Haha yes feel free to use, not sure how they will look with LPC characters though. I will get around to doing most of the artwork I need done. I have been consumed by programming as of late and haven't had to oppurtunity for adding onto the set. Nevertheless, it will be done... eventually... at sometime..
