Weekly Challenge: Minibosses (due Sep 20th)

This week's challenge is Minibosses!

Minibosses are not the main villains; usually they are bosses found at the end of early levels or in the middle of levels. But interesting minibosses can add a world of flavor to a game.

Minibosses have special attacks, weak spots, theme music, catch phrases and taunts, and special rewards when defeated. All these can be inspiration for this art challenge.

(Alternative interpretation: as an homage to the cover band Minibosses, take a song currently on OGA and make a metal version \m/ )

Note: minibosses are often some of the best/most memorable antagonists (Pazuzu in FFMQ, Kamu in Lufia II, Gilgamesh in... anything Gilgamesh is ever in, ever).

Just a heads-up: I'm going to try awarding *unique* badges to weekly challenge participants and see how that goes. The winner will get a gold version of the same badge. Please note that if you miss a challnge, you're out of luck, so if you want to collect the badge, be sure to enter on time. :)

A mutated monster like creature. It's not very good, but it's my first rigged creature. I don't have much time to complete it before the deadline, I'm away both saturday and sunday.

Hello, this is something i did sometime ago, and have been updating from time to time, i still have to texture and animate it so i dont want to upload just yet until its on a more finished state. But i think it could do a nice miniboss:

Meet the MIMIC, his catch phrases being, "The loot is a lie" and "Mimics, demons in disguise"

My entry. Finally animated my low-poly minotaur. He looks pretty good in-game. At some point I will update the model and add animations (probably a stomp, a hand-axe throw, and a crit death) and some variations (an armored version and maybe a demon version).
