Hi everyone, I'm new to opengameart.org. I would like to make a request and will pay for work done, I need some monsters for a FPS doom style game im making. Its 3d style game but the sprites are 2d plane style "always facing player" paper style. I will need about 4-6 types a few evil soliders that shoot and a few monsters/mutants/demons for a scary doom style FPS game with lots of blood and guts lol.
This is not a fan game, its my own spin on a doom/wolfenstein style game.
This is not a open source game. But will be happy to use closed or open assets.
Each sprite needs to have 6 animations per "action" and must be made within 32x32 pixels.
6. animations of walk/run towards player "running at player/facing player" no need for side ways and running away etc like in examples.
6. animations shoot/attack.
6. animations hurt/hit
6. animations dead/killed. also would like options to have stay in level "body on ground" and lots of blood and guts. lol
Theme: scary, futuristic, space, lab, humanoid, evil, demons, mutants.

The thing is, making his eyes too noticeable will make him seem very cartoony, and I thought you didn't want that?
I'm sorry mate, but I still cant tell what his eye is. So I gave him an eye.
I know what you mean about it looking cartoony. but need the eye to be more noticeable or players will think he is blind.
I can't really see how that eye is so much better, but to each his own.
I could't tell what his eye was.. all good just continue from that with the other animations. so slash attack and vomit like fatman same colours and pus/blood explode like fat man same colours.

My first attempt at the pinky. It looks nice I think but not 100% like the original. I only provided a single frame so it would be easier to make possible changes instead of doing it to many frames.
yeah thats looking good, can you please give him some big claws on front legs. :)

Sorry for the long delay, I was a bit busy, also I was kinda embarassed that I got so flustered by the scientist sprites, so I wanted to make sure these were a little better.
Its all good mate I understand. They all look REALLY great! the walk is perfect. both arms and legs together at same time! thats how he moves ingame also. So for attack just a bite and slash for him please. :)
Here you go! The bite one looks very simple but it does get the job done well.
They looks great mate good job, I'm very happy with them. Sorry about making you change them a few times, but in the end we made it work. I get paid this thrusday, so I'll pay you the same amount I said I would plus extra for doing those couple of extra sprites and for doing a great job, I'll pay you to the same paypal account, I have it saved.
Also here is an example of my tiles for my game, still alot more to do and some are not finsished. but it will show you what I can do, also I can make top downs and platformer tile sets.
That tileset looks nice!
