Hello all, I'm Steve.
I've been working on making video game music for the last few years and have got to the point where I would like to see them put to use, I've been using soundcloud* For the last 4-5 years or so with no luck (As it's a music based site, and they took away groups), but my friend directed me to this site.
Most recently I have been working on J-RPG style compositions with a SNES vibe and onwards (You can find 2 of my compositions already uploaded).
I mostly deal with RPG style but would be willing to try any type of music to compose for any type of game, I also work for free, this is what I like doing. So if you like the style of my tracks either straight up use them or if you want custom tracks or would like something stripped or rendered differently, Throw me a mail a comment, Whatever.
(Alternatively I have tracks uploaded here too) Hope you enjoy.
Nice music you've got going on! Very dramatic though.
I will remember you if I ever get a new project off the ground ^^
Maybe yet another MLP fangame...
I would absolutely put my heart and soul into that.
So you really wanna collaborate about a pony game?
Sounds like a great opportunity for both of us ;) I will send you a PM, let's continue the discussion there.
It should be noted that, before you dive, head-first into any sort of project with me, my games are almost never finished. I lose interest in stuff extremely quickly and can hardly be called reliable. I just mainly make stuff for fun, but it seems like you do the same, so it could still be a good time even if no real result comes from it ^^
Well even if it's unfinished the music will all be there for my portfolio ;)
But in all seriousness, Yes I am interested. When we talk (I should be asleep as it's 5am) I'd like to get a feel for your game style and the type of music you want, This is literally a dream start collab.
But aye, throw me a message and I'll be in touch as soon as I'm fully concious.
P.S - I've watched all of Friendship is Magic, so no research needed apart from your preferences on things, I can get started on a soundtrack ASAP
