I need some one to make a logo for an open source project. CATCore
Hello talented people, I have been developing a plugin framework for a while. It lets you build apps using a distributed plugin system architecture. I have used this in some app I have made for my self over the years, but now I would like to give to the community and see if in turn I can get people to help me improve and make it better then I ever could alone.
So why am I asking for here at opengameart? I want to help get the word out and attract some people to start using it (for games or any other applcations) and improving on it, and to do that I want to clean up my web site and give it a cool logo.
The name of the project is CATCore (Component Architecture Toolkit, Corelib) So I think a logo of a Robotic Cat would be cool. If any one can do that for me they will be the first contributors to this new open source effort.

I'm currently working on company/faction/corporation logos for Sci-Fi games, so I could give it a try this weekend. Do note that I'm not a good artist, so it will be a bit abstract. I hope that isn't a problem.
Related to your software, I see it is written in scala, are there bindings to other programming languages? I don't know of many games written in scala.
I've already worked something out. Will post it later.
Afaik scala runs on the JVM, so I think it should integrate seamlessly with Java (and probably other JVM languages as well).
Here is what I worked on this morning. This is just a png rendering, when you think it is ok, I'll upload the SVG, which allows you to scale it properly, or use transparency.

Also regarding it being in Scala. Ya it runs on a standard JVM so if you are making games in Java (for examaple for an Android device) it sould work out of the box, tho I have not tested that. Also right now I am uesing Akka for interactor messaging, but I want to look at uesing a protocal like STOMP so that I can make binding to other langugages.
I actuly have an Objective-C version on this framework, but in that version I use Mach ports for messaging, so it is not cross compatable with the CATMessages that are sent by the scala version. It is one of my project goals to make at least the Obj-C and Scala/Java version to talk to each other.
