Audio for my open source game "Fish fillets remake"

Audio for my open source game "Fish fillets remake"

Hello, I have another thread on this site just for graphics (https://opengameart.org/forumtopic/need-art-for-a-remake-of-fish-fillets-1-gnu-general-public-license-v3-gpl-3#comment-96641).

I'm selecting some good quality music from this site for the game and I would like to create a thread exclusively for the audio assets.

The game has actually some good quality songs I'm assigning and selecting to the levels. There are almost 80 levels, there's no need for every level to have an unique track but having a good ammount to make the experience fresh would be very nice.

  1. Accepted formats:

The game is made in love and luckilly love supports a huge and wide spectrum of formats, you can find them here: https://love2d.org/wiki/Audio_Formats

Basicaly all standard format like wav, mp3 and ogg are supported and you can add to it a wide spectrum of old tracker formats.

If all of those options were not enough, I also added the moonvox library https://github.com/9912/moonvox (sunvox bindings for löve). More info about sunvox can be found here: https://warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/#about

2. Type of audio content requested:

  • Music
  • Sounds
  • Dialogs

Regarding the music, I accept suggestions for already published open music that would fit the game, it needs to be quiet and comforting and a plus would be that the tracks are related to the settings of the game (underwater).

Regarding the sounds, there are no sounds yet on the game but I need sounds for the menus and buttons aswell as for many events in the game like object impact when falling or friction when being pushed. The sounds needs to be properly filter to evoque the underwater settings where the events are happening.

Regarding the dialogs, the scripts of the game have been translated to the following 15 languages:

  • Czesch (original language there are already voices for this language)
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • German (Switzerland)
  • Italian
  • Polish
  • Spanish
  • Dutch (There are already voices for this language)
  • Bulgarian
  • Swedish
  • Slovak
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Russian
  • Esperanto

There are about 80 levels and the first level have 33 lines of dialogs, doing maths that would be aproximately 2640 lines of dialogs per language.

I think there's a lot of things to add and improve on the sound aspects of the game and I would be very happy to receive any contribution and suggestions to add to the game.

I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding the game or anything I may forgot to explain.

Thanks for reading!
