Team Fortress 2 inspired?
No, I'm just wearing a straw hat and was bored, also tophats are awesome.
Why release it this way? With a simple subdivision surface modifier and some phototextures added, they could look much better.
Ican only connect to free wifi hotspots on a low-end laptop that has a 1.5 Ghz processor, the fact that I create anything while online is amazing. I will take your suggestion under consideration, and I want to add a few hats. However, I will not use photorealistic textures; running gimp and blender slows things down a bit. I also do not have any viruses, I am running Linux, and if I wasn't I would runn an antivirus scan every week. My computer at home hase more power, but no internet.
