Currently need a background and environment 2D artist that can give a RPG feel.
Having skills in characters, attack, objects will also be beneficial if you want to do other small jobs.

The tiles and background are all using placeholders and I hope to find an artist that can capture that scenerary.
Deadlines are no big issues for me, but I expect a small demo to be released in 5 months and the full release in 1 - 1.5 years.

I think I'd definitely be able to do that. If you're interested, I can make some samplers for you to see if you like my style :) Backgrounds are probably my weakest side though compared to the other things you mentioned.
One thing I'd like to have clarified tho is whether you intend this to be a free project, paid, rev share, or whatever. I have no problem with doing a free project once in a while, but I do if you expect me to spend upwards of a year on it :P

Or a shady dark building.
No need to feel restricted with your example, as long as you can show me you can do basic nature tiles and/or structures, that'll be fine.
