I know how to ape a John Williams score and I guess I could always study the batman theme and mutate it into something original. But does anyone have any wisdom to share towards a heroic soundtrack about beating up gangsters, the less scrupulous drug pushers and corrupt cops? The project I'm working on also takes place in the mid 90s.

I am currently listening to the old dolph lungren punisher movie from '89 and it really might help.
