I was thinking, sometimes I make revisions to my submissions that are significant changes. But these updates are not put at the front of the "Latest Art" list. And maybe that is best, so that fresh submissions are not pushed back. But I think it would be a good feature to have an option in the "Sort by" field of the "Advanced Search" page that would sort results by the latest revision date.
Not a bad idea. I'm not the one who would be able to implement it, but until something like that is available I could probably "bump" submissions on a case-by-case basis. It has to be done one at a time, so I would hope it's relatively infrequent. Just let me know when a big update is happening to a submission and I'll see about making sure people see the latest and greatest stuff. :)
I don't want people to abuse this, so I'm going to insist the updates are more than minor changes. However, in your case, AndumDeluge, I'm pretty confident the submission I assume you're referring to would qualify :)
Also, if it turns out there are other ramifications to this I didn't foresee, I'll have to discontinue. Just putting that out there.

Yes, there is definitely risk of abuse. That's why I changed the request to a sort by revision option. Originally I was going to simply suggest moving updated submissions to the front of the list. But that would likely result in spamming submission updates.
And honestly, I wasn't thinking of a specific submission of mine. It just came to me today because I was updating a couple older submissions.
Thank you for your input MedicineStorm. I hope the other devs like the idea of sorting by revision date & see it implemented. :)
