I'm creating a forum signature banner that is generated on the fly by a website to be used to rate your posts with "thumbs up", "thumbs down", and "rude". It then gives your character 1 xp point per rating. When you hit certain amounts of xp (100, 200, 400, etc...etc...) your character levels up. Right now you can pick one of four species and one of four careers for your character:

Species:

Drayas - Elfin tree fairies. Affinity to plants.

Terran - Stout earthy creatures. Affinity to dirt and metals.

Draco - Clever reptilians. Affinity to water, swamps, and rivers.

Orcen - Strong and competitive Ogre/Orc. Affinity for deserts and wastes.

Careers:

Bandit - Theives, rogues, and scoundrils. They use deception to get what they want.

Healer - Uses herbs and healing magic to cure ills, and heal wounds.

Magister - Weaves magic and casts spells.

Warrior - Master of weapons and physical combat.

The game will be free to play, and browser based. It will be closed source. I don't mind if the artwork is put up for use on this site. A portion of any advertising revenue (a single google ad bar at the top of the website page) will be donated to this site and/or given to any artists that participate.

I want something like Wesnoth Frankenpack. Except with higher resolution and put into a sprite sheet format so that I can have the website automating putting them together (i.e. all the parts are spaced into overlapping squares that you simply take one and over lap with another square and everything is in the right place). I would need a male and female of each species as well as several weapons and armor pieces for each career.

An example would be 3-4 helmets for Warriors that could be swapped out. 3-4 swords with separate overlays of fire, ice, lightning, light, and dark. Same for wands and magic staffs and other weapons.

The artwork style I would go for would be a little cartoony but serious, the images don't have to be too animated, just a few frames of standing still facing left, and attacking left, maybe getting hit left. and some for the banner 60x60 pixels facing the camera so to speak.

Eventually I might turn it into a full JRPG Final Fantasy style combat game on the website. For now its just ratings and leveling up.

I plan on adding badges for when certain conditions are met. Think xbox 360 acheivements. So a friendly badge for 20 thumbs up ratings, etc...etc...

Artwork will be attributed on the banner to the author and the license with further information when they click through to the webpage.
