Has anyone ever done 'Exquisite Corpse' style art assets?

By this I mean a set of, for example, monster heads, upper bodies, and lower bodies, such that any upper body can be combined with any head and any lower body.

I know this is fairly common for PC avatars, but I'm asking specifically about monsters/aliens/NPCs.
