Hello. I am developing a shoot-em-up and have reached the level design stage. The game is fully 3d, built in Unity (2023) and features near-fully destructible environmental objects. I am seeking help with two tasks:
1. Landscapes. I will create level designs out of primitives. This is a scrolling vertical shmup. Tiles are activated and deact9ivated as the level scrols by. I want a fairly realistic look, and no noticable repetition. This means a lot of tiles. I am open to using GIS data to assist so long as you are careful with copyright considerations. You can create meshes in an external program or work with terrain in Unity. All textures should be original or cc0. Please show me examples of your work and an idea of the pay you require. If your portfolio is slim, that's fine. We can talk.
2. Destructibles: I will create objects that the player can destroy. These are in the form of components which can be placed together to form structures which are scripted to form complex behaviours like roof cave-ins, etc. You'd basically be taking these elements and creating buildings and other objects out of them within the framework i have devised. This will require basic architectural knowledge, familiarity with Unity, and patience. But it should be rewarding; build houses and factories so that the player can blow them up! Please contact me with any questions you have and your requested hourly rate.
I can take screenshots and video to give anyone interested a better idea of what i need, but i am not yet willing to release builds or project files to any prospective candidates.
Thanks for reading and best of luck!
