The game is very very easy. Please add a hardcore mode. I have a lot of money at the end of the game.
Summon zombie scroll is an easy way to win. Enemies attack summon zombie, and we shoot them with a distant attack. Easy win.
I played from the beggining to the end, that took for me like 5:30 hours, and at some point i had to much money, because i found the items that i wanted to buy in some weird places, and my money was in the main chest, but in the last 2 portals, I(as a Brute) used too many health potions, and there went all my money, in a point i run out of potions and there the game went interesting, because i was actually trying to dodge everything, if you think is too easy, you can play without potions or something like that, because to increase the difficulty, means or increase the spawn or increase the damage(this one, i think you could do it in the main config file) which will mean additional work for the developers for a repetitive playability, maybe more levels or more strategy, as a example , i remember a battle in St Maria prison, the 'boss' in some point look pretty hard and i thought that i had to push him into some skewers, that kind of difficulty would be great.
Now, where do youd found all the figurines, i haven't finish the game (that was a pain of a speech for me, who has no finish the game) i don't want to go all the way back, and at some point ignore it again.
btw, i'm sorry for the possible errors back there, i'm not good at english.
I just finished the game, and as for me, it's not as much easy. It's just as it should be:)
Lezaith was a serious task, and with him Summon zombie scroll didn't help. I had to invent some tactics, it was rather intellectual question than just quick clicking the mouse.
With some previous monsters Summon zombie scroll was a good help, but tasks become more difficult closer to the ending.
For me it was very nice game :)
Yes, i agree, the game is very easy.
Maybe fix and add some points to improve balance.
1 - Add a difficult levels changing the max HP and quantity of enemies.
2 - Add terrain fog feature.
3 - Increase of enemies run/walk velocity.
4 - Reduce a action distance for long range weapons.
5 - Increase price of equipment.
6 - Reduce gold and items dropped.
If i am not mistaken, items 3, 4, 5 and 6 are easier to implement, editing config files.
Items 1 and 2 need make changes in engine.
I'm against points 2-6
If the game is sooo easy for you - is it also very easy for you to play it fast?
I made a speedrun (from beginning till Lezaith's Obilisk, without using the shared chest) in less than 73 minutes. And I still made mistakes, so there is room for improvement. Was anybody faster than me?

Here im thinking that ranger is way too overpowered compared to magician and brute, you can kill a lv8 minotaur with the slingshot at lv1; while the other cant at all at that point.
Currently i think its pretty difficult to increase the game difficulty while keeping it fun, making enemies hit harder or soak more damage is not a good way. The key is into the enemies behaviour(flee,hit&run,suicide...) and giving them plenty of different skills so they are a challenge to beat instead of damage sponges or 1 hit killers.
I would not be so sure that the ranger is overpowered.
Magician: Has ranged attack, costs mana, but also has much more mana. And one of it slows enemy down, other one can inflict high amount of damage (lightning bolt, critical hit). Plus, magicians can wear shields and use the energy shields, so they have a better defense than the ranger. The area damage of magicians is also fine (lightning strike, very fast)
Brute: Has best defense, and can hit very hard. They may be a little bit weaker than the other two, but the difference is not too big.
If a level 1 ranger can kill a minotaur, the magician could probably do as well. Plus, before you reach minotaurs you have to kill a lot of bosses first.
Many monsters do already well ( ranged ones use effective hit-and-run-tactics ) but I admit that some behaviours could be improved - for example black minotaurs do nothing if you attack them from really far away.
