What kind of company can an author call himself or herself if he or she writes books with it, for a suffix?
I made a fantasy novel of the first game of my RPG video game series that I was working on, and I'm curious as I am starting on the other books.
i'm not really sure what you asking, but if i interpret your question correctly, the word "press" behind your chosen "company name" is a pretty common one and is universally recognized as "oh they make books and stuff like that."
so, Urie Press or somesuch.
Shouldn't I be able to put 'Books' in my company name since I create mostly books in it?
well, you can a company just about anything you want i think
"Books" is way too generic, since there are basically books for anything and everything; since you are making fantasy stuff and the like, why don´t you call it something like "Uriel Scrolls" or worlds, universe, dimension...
Maybe company name + 'Media' or 'Works ?, those cover pretty much everything, books, writing, film, games etc. 'Books' is to generic as Danimal says, and sounds more like a publisher than a creator.
