Hello! I'm FireWolf and I'm a new indie game dev that cannot seem to make decent pixel art if my life depended on it.
Also new here to opengameart, as well as requesting art made for a game, so I'm gonna try to make this first request a fair one.
What my game is:
- It is a 2D platformer mixed with a 3D turn based RPG battle system.
- The characters are 64x64, pixel art, and 2D.
- Very adventurous feeling, not too bright, nor too dark.
- Very much this, except pixel art and not as cartoony: 
What I Would Like:
- A main character that is better than this: 
(You can have freedom here, but keep the general idea the same, a kid, around 14-16, black hair, "robes")
- A running and jumping animation for said character (not "required", just a request)

Yes, for now. I would like to see if anyone actually picks up what I have here first, and will go from there. If anyone would be interested in supplying further art or has any questions, please just let me know and I will get back to you.
I'm sorry, there is no money involved. I'm poor currently, as I'm still trying to get a foot in the ground here. Again, I apologise.

Here we have a version which is basically just a slight reimagining/upgrade of the same character. With this hairstyle he might look a bit too much like Harry Potter tho.
Holy ***t this looks amazing. My only very minor problem is the face, which isn't as "pronounced" as I would like, with the mouth details being a bit on the minor side, but it's amazing otherwise.
I would love a running animation of the character, just to give myself a compass of sorts to modify as such to make other animations.
Which leads me to ask, is there a chance I could work with you a bit more on art if it is at all possible? I completely understand if you are busy or just aren't for it, I was just wondering.
