A feature that I miss a lot in OGA is a way to link derivative works. At the derivated art, I know that I can just put a link at its description to the "source", but the problem is that at the "source" no reference to its derivatives exists at all... I think it should be great to have at the "source" a list of links to all its derivated ones.

Little bugreport:

If you try to post art and forget to choose a category. (2d, 3d, texture, etc.). The site highlights that field with an info that you need to choose one.

But the highlight is a red border with white background and the font is white too. So its white font on white background.

Just noticed another thing, if you click on preview posting in this forum I get a preview with a white background. Clicking on preview in the submit art section makes a black background.

We have some tutorials on OGA but it seems impossible to get to them without knowing their URLs.

There seems to be no option to subscribe to a thread except by replying and leaving the "Notify me when new comments are posted" checkbox checked.

Ideally, there would be a button at the top of the thread or below the first post to (un)subscribe to it.

When previewing a new forum thread, the background color is lemon. We had the same issue with new art submission previews but fixed it in http://opengameart.org/sites/all/themes/oga/oga_no_side_bar/oga_theme_no_side_bar.css

To apply the same fix to the forums, please add

.preview .node {
background-color: #000015;
}

News feeds are a wonderful thing to keep users and applications (twitter, facebook, irc bots) updated about changes.

We have feeds for lastest art and blog but there are a few issues:

1. There is no content in the 'latest art' items, only title. Ideally all the info the node holds would be in the feed item content as well. At least preview image/audiofile (though rss has an 'image' element that could be used instead)

I saw some post compaining about the narrow forum view a few weeks ago and I agree that it would be more ergonomic to use the full width for the forum.

By adding the rules

#left { display: none; }

#right { width: 100%; }

body { background-image: none; }

to all pages in /forum/, the forum would look like the attached image.

Are people interested? Do people have suggestions? Should I investigate how to implement this?

I would like to report some problems with the site search.

1. Any search gives me an error notice

Any search that I start using the top right search field on the main page leads me to results but also throws an error 'notice' (the icon indicates an error):
