Spouts out a load of anti-feminist pedophilic agendas and wonders why nobody takes his work seriously...
Also, you're still basing your trash talk on Xonotic's past.
Overkill actually became a part of Xonotic as of the recent updates, and while we do indeed have server list categories now, the purpose of them is to help people find what they're looking for, not to demote popular modes.
Morphed also works full time, and he's stated before that each of these monsters takes 10 hours to model. That's excluding animations and textures...
Those 4 monsters are higher quality and cooler looking than your 20. Quality and quantity are separate beasts, which is better depends on your own opinion.
Also, we have those monster models, sources and all. It didn't take that long given their quality, and we hope to get them in by 0.8.3 (the so-called monster update).
As for getting little done in favour of work; Xonotic is indeed a side project for most, as you can't make an income off of it.
Not everyone can afford to dedicate much time to open source, unfortunately...
The second part suggests that your knowledge of Xonotic's state is outdated, not that things were always perfect.
divVerent has a family and a job at Google, so his time is very limited. He still contributes occasionally and helps with releases.
Your fork may be a modification of Xonotic, but it's diverged far enough from standard that it's not just a mod. It's an independent fork, and so shouldn't simply be titled "Xonotic".
At least replace the "Git Build" text with "Chaos-Esque Anthology"... call it whatever you want, that text there is stupid, when these are intended to be releases of your fork.
This isn't about impressing anyone, but you sure proved my old point that you want feedback but attack those who give it.
For what it's worth, GitLab has a 10GB repository size limit.
Also, it's not appreciated to spread such ignorant lies about Xonotic development. Things are smoother than ever now, some big changes and features are getting reviewed and merged within a month of creation.
When there are debates, it's for the improvement of the feature, and they're often resolved quickly, not in "decades" (which is of course an exaggeration on your part, but still).
Things have changed a lot since Samual and divVerent were running the show, in many ways for the better, but I will admit they had a certain professional and skillful standard about it all that we lack now...
Nonsensicle insults aside, I do have one final request for your fork:
Change the banners so it doesn't have "Xonotic" written all over it, to avoid confusion.
This request is for your sake more so than Xonotic's, to give it a slight bit more originality. The greyscale look is fine, but the whole "Xonotic Git Build" title is just half-assed on your team's part.
You're a funny one, accusing us of doing nothing then asking us for help ripping the big new things in Xonotic...
The gamemode you asked about was designed by Morphed and tZork, so they hold copyright, but given it was included in the main Xonotic repo, it's highly likely this stuff was GPL.
It's likely your thread was locked on the Xonotic forums to prevent spam from new accounts, but it wasn't deleted.
Removing and moving are different things, and given your behaviour, I'd say Mirio is well grounded in his decision to move that thread to Sanity Island.
As for the questions related to your fork:
There are examples of such things in the Xonotic codebase, they're just not specific to weapon code. They can at least give you an idea of what needs to be done.
Clearing the console for a command output isn't a great idea either, but if you really need it to appear separate from any console stuff for some reason, just add a few newlines before the messages.
Well, pedophilia isn't legal.
His religious views aren't so much the issue, as spamming them all over a forum dedicated to a shooting game.
Religious, anti-feminist, general trolling, spamming, attacking specific people directly, the list goes on.
Just google the name MikeeUSA for a number of reasons he's not welcome in the Xonotic forums.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why he's banned whenever he spams the Xonotic forums.

Yeah... this has pretty much devolved to personal agendas.
Feel free to accept the bug fixes, at least.
