The song is Noisy Tubes by HorrorPen

 

The idea of the blue flames is every once and a while the player will walk into one. When this happens the player can sit for up to a duration of about a minute. If they wish to get right back in the action they can simply tap the screen.

 

At the end of this either blue fireballs, meteors, bouncers or beams will drop from the sky. Then the player may or may not get ammo of the chosen weapon.

Hey everyone!

I just added alot of small changes that add up to a massive update. Although most of it is invisible :D Somethings you can notice are:

-Replaced the health and sp bars with cool looking Particle Systems :D

-The ammo system is in place and working perfectly, you now can actually purchase, upgrade, and buy ammo for our powers in the in game store.

 

Stuff you can't notice from the video:

-I added alot of code that now alows the game to be persistent once turned off. Meaning the app can be turned fully off and you can resume your game where you left off.

 

Coming Soon:

What I like to call break points - more on those later. As well as some scrolling background art and new enemy art. I also plan on replacing the 3 long lasting effects that are the icons up top and center. Those will no longer be there. You can buy them from the in game stire if you wish with credits. You may also find them in game once and a while. Anyway at the start of a round you will be able to chose if youd like to use one for the next wave. I might also add in other perks as well, like increased defence, attack power, speed etc...

Pretty soon I will also be adding Global HighScores/Leaderboard. I will be using Kumulos for the database portion :D

And in app purchases will be coming soon as well :D

It's getting there everyone :D I hope to be finished by the end of this month!!

Wow this looks amazing. Looks amazing too :D

How is using Unity? I've seen a few students on campus using it and I've always wondered it if it was worth it to learn it.

 

But your game looks a great and I can't wait to see the finished project. 

And I heard this but Im not positive. Unity can port your game to iOS, Android, Wii and a bunch of other platforms? How is that, do you just hit a button and BAM it's magic. Or is there a little more work involved?
