I played this before, I like this game. Glad to see my stuff being used. I am currently working on some extra animations for the 16x18 template, you might find these extra poses useful as far as the shooting animation goes like.

This is actually a realistic style... because of the details, they resemble the anatomy of a real human a lot whereas in an anime style, the eyes will be bigger and there won't be as much detail in the anatomy as this.

Examples of anime are these...

As for Tayoko, great job on these!

Thanks. And sounds great, I wanna check the project out when it's available. I like seeing my stuff being put to use.

These sprites, as well any work I have ever made since I started two years ago pixelling, has been done from scratch. FF4 Map charaset styles played some influence when I was designing this template. The bard issue can be corrected by changing the character's colors. Hope that helps.

I accidentally selected the next license. :o

Its fixed now. The license allows you to edit the faces for your project, if you edit them and you want to share them in OGA, you can, but if you don't, it's fine.

Thanks for the input Moire. Those are just extra patterns so people have more variety, whoever uses them have to make their own pattern to make them cooler. I cannot use another format unfourtunately, the program that I use only support .png and .bmp files... it also doesn't support layers, not to mention I don't ever work with layers.

I use this program, charamaker1999 which was made specifically for videogame pixel art, mostly for RPG stuff but you can pretty much do anything on it... here is a video of an sprite being made using the program.

It's actually 10 lol, the 12 extra ones are simple variations from those 10 to give people an idea of what they can make. :)

fpunked: No problem. Changed the .png file, you can download it again, this time it can be used commercially - attribution - share alike 3.0.
