I just got a negative feedback about the featured art section and I think I agree, not only the best art is listed there.
Do you think there are pieces that we should remove and pieces we should add? Discuss! :D
I just added
http://opengameart.org/content/homemade-flame and http://opengameart.org/content/space-ship-3d2d because they are endlessly awesome!
I was certain I featured that spaceship - a miss on my part.
As for the rest, I dunno. I'm not even sure what "featured" is to be used for, honestly; we already have "most favorites" - to me "features" should be a way to show off something that might otherwise not end up in the spotlight, but I don't think OGA is big enough to really need that :).
I think "featured art" is supposed "the best, according to moderators".
Favorites is for "best art, according to all users" (which is by attractive female 3d models will be most popular)
