AI-generated art submissions are becoming more and more popular on OpenGameArt which, by the way, is a little annoying because it pushes human art off the 'Lastest Art' page. Well AI can also make audio and I'd imagine a lot of AI-generated songs and sound effects get past screening a lot easier than AI-generated sprites. Has there ever been an AI-generated song found in OpenGameArt? I've had AI generate songs before and the process is very easy, you can listen to it here: https://www.mureka.ai/song-detail/P4oQtJmjEjapTqN195xonm?is_from_share=1, I made that song in a few seconds from a basic promp so anyone can do it. Is anything being done to spot AI songs?
What ai songs have you found on OGA?
We review sound submissions, too, but submissions from known users tend to get checked less thoroughly.
--Medicine StormIt was just a thought I had, I thought it was strange that rarely any audio files have been put in https://opengameart.org/content/artificial-intelligence-assisted-artwork which made me wonder if audio files were checked for AI. I'm sure it's harder to check if audio files were made with AI vs 2D and 3D art. I haven't found any AI-generated music or sound effects or at least I don't think I have. Have a great Sunday!
Actually, more than half the submissions in that collection are music and sound. It only seems like there are very few music and sound submissions because submitters of AI generated audio tend to prefer their submissions be unpublished (black icons to admins, invisible to you) rather than leave them as download-disabled.
