$12256 / $11500
Hello, I'm working on a 2D Adventure Platform game called Boxon and the Mushroom of Fallen Skies and i'm not very happy with my character.
I was just wondering if someone could make me a 2D Pixel art Curbylike character with a squere body instead of sircle that match in with the Generic Platformer Tileset(http://opengameart.org/content/generic-platformer-tiles). Basicly i need a character that looks a little like my profile image.
I need it to move to left and right, stand still and watch you, jump, climb ladders amd attack(jump forward and roll).
I will pay 20$ for this and I will mention you in the credits :)
Thanks :)
Most of the licenses here are some sort of share-alike - is your game going to be open source? Also, do you have a demo or screenshots of the current state?
It's made with Game Maker Studio and that is not a very friendly Open Source Coding Language as fra as i know :| and yes I got a techdemo for the game:

You can use love2d or someother script driven 2d game engine.
It is convenient
I am not a license expert, but Surt's work is GPL'd, which means you're free to use it, but the work it's used in will need to also be licensed with a GPL-compatible (open source) license. As Helfox mentions, there are other game making tools out there that are more open source friendly.
It was ok for him to let me use the tileset for commercial use, now I just need the character.
Commercial is not the opposite of copyleft.
Red warrior needs caffeine badly.
Right, Surt - what I'm trying to figure out is whether or not games made with Game Maker are the opposite of copyleft. From what I can find, it looks like a completely proprietary license for the program. I don't know if that means one can make GPL'd games with it or not.
