ok so I see this site is for video games. I absolutely love the look of pixel art and old video games. I am a new table top game designer (card game board games). I am wanting to make a card game based on vintage games (ataria, nes, snes, etc...). I was wondering if using these images are strictly for video game use or just anything? and does anybody have suggestions on pixeled art. I do not mind putting recognition in the credits of the game rules.

The licenses used on this site are all standard Creative Commons and Free Software Foundation licenses. There is nothing in them specific to games, video or otherwise.
Attribution alone is enough for some licenses but not all.

yes i have been reading the faq about licenses and am choosing the ones that only need attribution or less.
I do a fair amount of pixel art, and the large majority is CC-By. I don't know if its the sort of stuff you need, but there are a variety of rpg enemies, etc. I would be happy for you to use it. There is quite a bit of good pixel art around the site, though, so if it isnt what you're after we can probably direct you to something more suitable. But specifics of what you're after beyond the medium would help.

i am looking for locations and "attacks" and "defences" now. I believe I am good for characters, weapons, and enemies.
