Sara is healed from stone status and proceeds to summon the OGA logo before fading away.
oga-source.xcf is the fully expanded layers that I worked with to generate the animation.
oga.xcf is the splash animation in layers so you can easily export it to whatever format best suits you.
oga.png is the splash animation as a tiled png. The upper-left 408x47 is the first frame, the second frame directly below it, the 16th frame directly right of it. The final frame is the bottom-right 408x47.
oga.zip contains all of these files plus oga.mng, an mng version of the splash animation.
Whichever way you use it, it's intended to be centered on a black screen with a 100ms delay between frames.

It's kind of inconsistent that Sara is in front of the text first but behind the text afterwards. I'd also appreciate a gif preview.
I suppose I could export a gif preview instead of using the png for the preview.
I'm not sure I agree that it's "inconsistent", I intended that to be part of Sara's fading away after summoning the text logo.
Anyone else share CruzR's opinion? It's a fairly simple matter to just send Sara behind the text for the duration...
EDIT: And the preview is switched.
EDIT: Also... If it might help or whatever I suppose I could produce like 2 extra frames with Sara partially in front and partially behind to smooth the transition for that part? I personally don't feel there's any issue, but...
I agree with CruzR, looks a bit odd that she starts infront of then is suddenly behind the text..
Why not put her at the side like she is at the top of OGA site? That way she doesnt need to be faded away and there wont be any overlap issue.
I'll up a second version doing it that way later I suppose.
That'll be a change for all 30 frames 82 layers. Not quite as simple and I have to get to school this morning, and then we're to be hit by a pretty hefty snow storm so getting back home after will be a bit treacherous and slow going.
I'll just upload the v2 to this same page. Maybe this evening, maybe tomorrow. Depends on when I get back tonight.
I know this is an old thread, but it might be relevant again: http://opengameart.org/forumtopic/get-it-on-open-game-art-button-for-websites Plus, I really like this logo.
I reworked a bit of AbiDrew's Gimp file so I could make it into a button with an added intro. Don't know if I like the intro or not. It looked like sara was off by one pixel on some of the frames, so I tweaked that and put her in front of the OGA logo like you guys suggested above to see how it looks.
There are a few extra layers in case anyone wants to change the backdrop into your favorite button/background color.
