I am currently working on a low resolution set of tiles for a city builder. Although I have not finished it yet, I want to update this as I go along with creating the new tiles.
Feedback is welcome! Please note that I do not consider myself an artist, and that I am actually a programmer who just thought they'd save budget making their own graphics.

25TH MAY 2015 UPDATE: Added sloped hill tiles. Changed the colours of trees to make them stand out from the grass (especially useful when multiple tiles are put together into an engine). Finished the country roads with decorations. Neatened up layout of image.
JULY 18TH 2015 UPDATE: I haven't changed the image yet, but there is more stuff coming! I just thought I would let you all know that I am working on this still, it is just that I took a break to work on something else.
NOVEMBER 4TH UPDATE: New hotel, house, car park and multi-storey car park! Also replaced all of the lamposts/streetlights with taller ones. Added two new terrain pieces for certain corners. Finally added animated water, that connects together nicely.

I understand your struggles. However, you seem to be rather talented att creating art as well!
I can draw buildings ok, but literally nothing else! Thankyou :)
