I've been working recently on coming up with an update for OGA's mascot, Sara. Here's what I've got so far:

Caution: the image is fairly large. I'm looking for comments, critiques, etc, so please chime in with your thoughts.
If anyone is curious about the reference I used for her hair design, I found this page searching for "bombshell hair" on google:
She's nice but honestly, I prefer the current sideviewed mascot which is more videogame themed.
How about a giant transformer looking machine that has like a paint brush for an arm,and a 3-d grey ball for the other with headphones on. It would be even cooler if you could make him 2-d make his leg pixelated and one half of his body 3-d or almost isometric. To represent the different art on the website. how I see it in my mind works really well with oga 2.0. Or is what I am saying alittle too complicated?

She'll be videogame themed by the time she's finished, don't worry. This is just the design for her face and hair.

I always figured her a Samus rather than a Princess Peach. The concept is perhaps a bit too... seductive(?)/"pretty" compared to my internal image. Said image is probably a bit too close to Samus I'll have to admit.
is my idea too outhere?>

First: as seen on IRC, Ultimate Smash Friends-version Sara with better, more matching-with-vision hair. Second, Sara+Xeon=...Samus?

Actually, now that you guys mention the Samus thing, I should point out that I've been deliberately trying to distance her from Samus, at least a bit. The first hair design that I came up with for her turned out to be pretty much the same as Samus, so I had to toss it. Sara should be somewhat Samus-like, but not an exact copy. :)

I think your concept may be a little complicated for a mascot that needs to be able to work at a small size. :)
Brandon: If someone pulls it off that could be cool.
Bart: Well. Capable blonde game character. I think that's Samus-like right there. I'm sure there are other kick-ass blondes, but nothing comes to mind...
What's the "Samus" hairstyle? This , this, this, or (somewhat NSFW) this?
I just always thought of something representing all art that is uploaded on this website since not everyone is going to be using this site for video games.
