Wazzup (y')all, I was looking for 8 direction car sprites and couldn't find any online, if anyone can make an open source one that will be good. it doesn't need to be colored in, it just needs to be 8bit and large enough to be proportionate with a character who is 16x16 pixels tall.
Please note, it can't be from a total top down perspective, it gotta be from a classic CRPG point if view. I am going to use it for an RPG that allows you to walk in 4 directions, but drive in 8 directions, since cars have to make turns. Sorry for the lengthy request. I'll really appreciate it if any of you can make that for me.
Why don't you just take these http://opengameart.org/content/isometric-vehicles-1 from kenny and resize them to the size you want? You then you can just go over it in paint or something until you are happy with it.
I made this one pretty quickly: (It's my first pixel art so you can probably do better and please click)
The picture on the forum distorted it to make it look even worse. Please click on the attachment to see what it actually looks like

They kinda have to be retro with no alpha channel, just 8 directions on one image would be great too something exactly like this,
PS: and I can't use the example i posted, because: it's a jpg, and it has a stupid logo covering it.
@melaniko thanks for the image but it doesn't quite fit what I need done

You might need to grab a 3d model and render it with Blender. Either that or use Gimp to remove the alpha channel and place them onto a single sheet.
There is also those other ones

If they are really not suitable you can paint over thema bit to add more "pixelated" feeling (sample provided, adding a bit of outline and shine on the top most car)

Yeah, I kind of butchered the editing process, which is why I suggested a method to do it yourself. I am too busy building a character generator for a game I will work on this summer. MS Paint will get rid of the alpha channel and replace it with white and allow you to edit the indvidual pixils, which you will probably need to do.
Kenny's vehicles does come will a full spritesheet and it matches pretty well with the set that fmonoz suggested.
