No, seriously, there's some great stuff on their homepage and it's generally not copyrighted. You can read the usage guidelines here.

I found a great picture of the infamous Hurricane Katrina, which destroyed New Orleans back in 2005, for you here. It will probably need some adjustments and fixes, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem for an experienced image editor, and details probably won't matter, because it's huge (5600x7200px!!!).

If you need an excellent image editing tool, try gimp. It's FOSS, and although mastering it is quite hard, you can get amazing results as soon as you have some skill. But since I guess your first results won't look too good - neither did mine ;-) - I might do this for you. But be warned: I have spare free time, so it's probably gonna take at least a week.

"I like the top one. Do you have a PNG verson with out the black background by chance?"-> Glad I could help , Yes I do I posted the direct links below the preview image I did not post the images with [img] tags since they are 1200X1200 and that would mess the comment page borders.

"BTW how did you make that swril effect?"-> I personally use Paint-net but almost any image editing software has that effect since its kinda basic ... In fact some online image hosting sites might have it in the edit tab.
