This tileset uses a pallette very close to NES but a few modifications to resemble alot of 1993 nes titles. (the ones with modified cartridges to have more tile cache).

The proportions are that of super metroid (hence the 1x4 doors).

Could you add a bit more to this. reminds me of Metroid prime.
