We are a small team of students with different backgrounds but a common passion about the RPG genre. Our dream is to complete a small RPG called "Farundil" which reflects some of the classic aspects of the legendary open World games like the Gothic series. I really have to emphasize it is only a small slice of the original source of inspiration which we try to interpret.
We are working on this project in our spare time and since we can show some content I'd be happy to hear what you think about such a project and also what you think about our artstyle! Please be critical :)
This is my first post in this forum and I guess many will follow, what an awesome place! I am also looking forward to share some selfmade assets!
-> Keep in mind we do not create all of our assets on our own, some are even from this site :)

I like the look of it.
Is it playable already?
What are the hardware minimum requirements for this so far?
Greetings
Peter
Thanks :)
We do not have a public playable version yet. We'll implement the story at a later point and we are working on the mechanical bits and pieces at the moment.
We really try to keep the hardware requirements down by using the URP renderer, LOD objects aswell as occlusion culling and further Unity tricks to increase performance. We are able to keep the fps above 140fps at max settings in the editor (which will be higher when the game is built) - but I am also using a RTX 2080 to be fair ..
However the game should really be playable on an older card like a GTX 780
