Of particular note are the vast additions to the available enemies contributed by VWolfdog and the spell effects by Mikodrak. Developer of http://www.nyrthos.com/. The amount of artwork contributed for this mod and for Flare in general has been very encouraging. After a few failed attempts at using blender this week to try to render some of the existing 3d models from this site, I have even more appreciation for the artwork provided.

A lot of progress has been made since my original post and most of the elements needed for the mod are present in a very rough form. Theres still plenty of work to be done before the mods beta release but im hoping it will be matter of weeks rather than months. Any contributions are welcome as always for artwork, coding or game data.

Looks awesome. I never realized how fast-paced the gameplay for Flare was, it's kind of cool.
I was going for a more boulder's gate gamplay style but this seems great too.

As far as pace goes, jeremyW, it all depends on how strong enemies are, where they're spaced out, and how delicate the hero is. If someone wanted, they could make either a lightning-fast or slow-paced Flare mod, with stealth techniques or waves of minions.
