Hi all,
I've added a working gamepad to my HTML5 RPG for those who do not have keyboards, like those newfangled touch screen devices. :) However, my gamepad is programmer art:
I was hoping that maybe you guys could come up with something better. Perhaps something like the one in Gameboom's logo. I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks,
Gaurav
P.S. Here's a link to my forum topic so you can see a description and submit feedback:

I have looked around for a bit and found:

This will at least give you some decent buttons.
Another thing I noticed is your graphics are quite simple. (and people judge mainly on how the graphics look like)
A few sprites I found in a couple of minutes:
Make / find a background image for your combat scenes
Game technical:
One other thing, Happy programming!
wokste,
Thanks so much for taking the time to review my game, and especially for your constructive feedback. You deserve a badge for that!
I've implemented both your technical comments. Random encounter frequency is reduced from 0.25 (1 in 4) to 0.2 (1 in 5), I hope it plays better.
I know I'm lacking in the graphics department, but I've had a lot of difficulty in attracting any sort of artistic talent. :(

I played for about 20 minutes, but it was latenight and I forgot to post about it :P.
- I'm dumb, but it took me 15 minute to see I could walk on trees and go in the first "dungeon"
- I find the walking speed a bit slow
- You should add a quantity when buying items
I banged out an On-screen Controller Kit http://opengameart.org/content/on-screen-controller-kit for you yesterday cause I was bored. Have Fun.
Thanks, verbalshadow.
