Greets!  You should check out the work of CharlesGabriel - he's submitted a variety of avatar portraits in an anime style.

He didn't brush it off - he relicensed to CC0 as requested.  I read that more as a "*shrug* Works for me" type of deal.

The potions on the top row look like Clint's - if they're based off the same, you should include his name in the attribution.

Off the top of my head:

- Beards/facial hair

- More glasses (round 'scholarly' type, sunglasses, etc.)

- Mohawk

- Helmets (motorcycle, riot, etc.)

- Hats (top, cowboy, fedora, ..?)

Actually, you can add collaborators here - when you Edit a submission, there's a spot to add them in the bottom-left, after which those users can also Edit the submission.  That said, I agree that the wiki format is a better fit for the OPP.

@William.Thompsonj: Spam does crop up here and there, most often as bogus Collections.  OGA has some pretty good filtering in place, though, and Bart and the other admins tend to catch the ones that slip through fairly quickly.

Might want to put commas between your tags; otherwise, it shows up as one giant tag labeled "Missile Bomb Exploding arrow Bird Airplane Helicopter Umbrella Storm Cloud Puffy Cloud Balloon Sky Diver".  ..Which is awesome, but not as searchable.

I usually use Gimp - you can use Select by Color with the threshold turned way down to select all regions of a given color at once, then use Bucket Fill with the Shift key to fill the entire selection with the new color.  It's a bit of a process, though, and I could definitely see the utility of an easy-to-use palette management tool for pixel art.

If you've learned something from the attempt, then it's not a failure at all.  Keep trying, and don't get discouraged!

Dwarf Fortress has another layer of story generator, too - it comes up with an entire history of the world when you start your game, including nations/cities, conflicts and alliances, and even individual heroes and politicians.  I think it even gets into individual battles, though it's been a while since I played; I know it's a crazy amount of detail that it generates for your expedition's backstory, though.

I'd actually love to see these in a 16x16 version (for purely selfish reasons, of course), but they're pretty phenomenal as is.  Great work!
