I would defintely reccomend people to make some sort of backups or re-uploads of desired files and the licences that they come with - there's a lot more security in backing up files you think you might use in the future than hoping they stay online. I've got a few bits that are hanging aroundon USBS sticks and a few things that i've uploaded to archive.org.
At one point I actually managed to get myself a free asset pack before it got taken down and replaced with an updated paid version. I still have that asset pack- backing up is worth it.
An interesting idea that I probably won't try is is the writing and distribution of assets CDs or DVDs.
Yes please, I think I was being overly anxious about it. That incldes the photomanipulated tree textures, I'd be upset to lose that pack- I'm afraid I no longer have it.
I removed the file I uploaded, only later to realise that ALL my.7z files where effected. I have Windows Defender and chances are a 7-zip archive just isn't in it's lsit of approved file types, I did a full scan and it detects no issue when I don't have 7-zip archives. I may have been a overcautious to react the way I did. Looks like a false-positive.

Could I please get my name changed to Starry Skydancer? It's the name that I first signed up with, but I think I mispelled my email adress or soemthig nand I couldn't get in to the account. Understandable if it can't be done since I believe the account does exist.

I've also found this an issue when looking for assets and brushes for digital art programs. Not many people tag clearly with the angle.
