Strange comment Bobjh.... they are all .blend files, I don't even have 3DS Max.

Are we sure we are talking about the same files?

Hallo :) I am the author of this model. I noticed that the package here is not up-to-date, in particular it has a wrong version of the licence.

The most up-to-date model is here, on the mirror of my old website.

Thanks Bart, but am I loosing my mind? I was sure it was submitted by Ceninan (with my approval) and I could not edit it. Now that it is mine, I will update it :)

To be also clearer, those restriction apply to every, everyone's artwork, no matter what the licence is, and no matter if the author writes a note or doesn't. So, following your reasoning, you should remove *everyting* from this site :)

Fortunately, this is not the case.

And in fact, in later works that I released and published by myself, there is not even the note about the moral right stuff. That would be simply... redundant. Only two packages (the fist ones that I released, goth guy and girl) have.

If you remove this and the other packages, I will provide one without the note, if this makes you more confortable.  And I hope there are no more versions of that old packages on the web.

Hi mdwh, actually, the problem is that it wasn't me that put the package on OpenGameArt, but Ceninan, and it's been a while. I remember that I gave him the right to do this, but maybe I've been wrong about not checking the way it was licenced and so on. I think those models have end up on may sites, that I don't even know.

He put the package with the old version of the licence, that actually had those restrictions. The current one just clarifyes what, independetly on the licence I apply, is considered "lesive" to me.

And it's not even a thing that i can give up. See here for clarification

http://www.artslaw.com.au/legal/raw-law/what-are-moral-rights/

http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/copy/c-otherprotect/c-moralrights.htm

However, I think it is better if you remove them, or at least, change the packages.

You find the link with a more "up to date" version in the first post. The problem is that the problem persists. Moral right can not be waived, not even by the autor.
