Sorry Raoul. the files and models are delivered as stated in the readme file as-is. To make the tires seperate for each vehicle would imply also to make a rig fot all the vehicles. I wont be able to provide the assets for free if I put that amount of work for all my assets.
Maybe in the future I might make some rigged cars but I cannot guarantee I will make them cc0.
But, you have the mesh. To make the wheels separate is certainly something that can be done. although I cannot help to make them work right now.
Ok, the setting sounds interesting. never really done character design before but its something on my list to do next anyway. best way to learn is through a project, right What exactly are you still looking for? Is there a way to contact you directly through email, chat or hangout to discuss this more efficiently?

If you want me to create levels and optimize them let me know. I also noticed som errors in my modesl I need to adress. Oh... and real racing assets are on their way ;)
