Well done, nice shaders.  My girlfriend also liked them.

Except the lens flare?  lol.

What are the most wanted tutorials?  In my case, specifically 3D related.

Of course, however I find the quality of these to be lacking.  I've kinda got stuck away from doing art, busy life.  I mess around and make some simple things every now and then.  I've actually been working on this SuperTux stuff recently, I've decided to make the shoes be the basis of the enemies, and use them to program how they interact with Tux.  Then I can use the same shoes for enemies with similar properties, such as enemies that can't be jumped onto, or enemies that can be picked up and used like toys.  I need a 2D rig on the eyes too, then I can use the same eyes on all enemies with those cartoony eyes, being all but a few bosses.

I'm also thinking of going with the title, "Tux's New Deminsion" and moving away from the supertux name, I think it's cursed. n Are you making a Tux game, or using it for something else?

Indeed.  I think this site is going to be integral to FOSS games in the future.  I bet the FSS might eventually help flip some bills.  It does make sense that people could come here to find games too, but I think a directory of links might be a better idea.  A dictionary of FOSS games registered and some information, so we don't have to carry around old, dead ideas from 14 year olds that tried for a week to make a game and now we're going to host their content for years.  Decentralization is bad.

Medieval building, tavern/house.  Stone base, wooden beams visible, wooden shingles not the same as the well.

I like these shapes/style http://images.travelpod.com/users/lroff/world_2006-2007.1155717360.02_me... (left).

I like these colors/shades http://graymonk.mu.nu/photographs/mainz_market/Assorted%20288.jpg (middle two).

I'm going to add a small pantry, second floor.  Wooden floors on top two floors, stone on pantry.  Small windows, a couple of different doors... and stuff inside.  Let's get going!

Fooled me!

Monasteries tend to vary from game to game.  Some use actual religious influence, some use the nine divines.  But the lodge does sound awesome.

I did consider growing it out, making a basic small town, in which I'm sure your parents will be murdered, where the resistance calls home, and you ended up in luckily/mysteriously, after some jail time...  But I also will include the textures and some notes as to how I made the looks.  I can usually figure out how other people did it, but I'm sure everyone will like the lack of guess work.

Theonosis.  That sounds highly decentralized.  It also sounds like a terrible idea.  I'm just lookign to find the most commonly needed "generic" assets for FOSS games.

I've never been into D&D, whitewolf, or gurps.  In fact, I don't even know what the second two are.  I know what D&D is because some of the folk I work with play it.  (I make fun of them, in a barely serious way.)  However, I welcome you to add ideas to the list.  It seems like medieval is going to win.  Which is fine with me.  Tavern?  Blacksmith?  Stables?  Barracks?  Bad guy hideout?  Tools, furniture, rugs, various doors, various windows, weapon racks, fireplaces, clothing, shoes, kitchen items, chests but not on elves, foodstuffs, kegs, wine bottles, training items, for some reason all I can think of is Ren fest.

Looking good tidbit, how long you been working at them so far?  Are you working on any game right now, or just stuff?

No, that wasn't me, I was just noting another OGA artist'contributer was there.  I'll have to find it again and see who it was.  At first I thought it was you.  Are you with any of those projects?

I've snooped around DH a while back.  It'd be cool to have them use my stuff in game.  They seem really dead set on the lore issue.  Sometimes, like in the NES days, you just got to wing it, and build and change as it goes on.  But I do love some of their lore.   And I did play the holy hell out of Daggerfall.  I liked that concept of a tavern/thing.  That's a possible there.

Doesn't this look familiar? JclassicRPG looks fun. And I like Radakan's buildings.  They look really simple though, and I'm trying to make something that will push my talents.  Also, I don't know what the hell I'd put in there. :I

Pompei2, how many faces are we talking here?  As few as possible?  I could make them, but they'd be outside only for you guys(?). :/  That's not to say someone else might not like the inside of them too.  And don't you worry, I intend to have fun!!!  I'll add the forge/smithy and the muiltplex house to the list of possibles.  I can think of multi-useful items to stock them with.
