what progam you using to make the music with? Because some of the instruments are pretty good. I'm intersted to hear the dance stuff if you plan on making some to put on here or have some avaliable to listen to. I been using a few of the eletronica and techno tunes from off here because I'm got a couple of dance clubs in my game (on different planets).
Hes got the basics down in his tunes, and listening to it by itself the tune sound ok but in the video game that I'm building, I actually have 3 different sound ambients effects playing in the background other to give more depth and texture to create the space ambient effect I want as I'm doing a sci-fi rpg game..
with some modification, This could probably pass off as a tune for the dance club in my game. although it sounds more like racer style of music to me, its not bad. a bit repetitative in places. nice rythym.
They are thiking of shifting the Pitch value of the voice to try to make more better english synthesis. it does not work with the linear approach, with english they find it difficult to get a perfectly natural sounding synthesis.
The file in question is not your chair blender file, but another file I downloaded rom a free studio website. But I don't have 3ds studio Max or Maya to conert the file from chair.max to chair, fbx Because Even though Blender has got about 20 types of file formats it can import, There's no plugin in Blendr for importing in MAX files. So I can't change the file format from max to 3ds or to FBX as a result. Unreal use FBX.
Do you do make pilot spaceship chairs as well, i'm looking for one of those.
but the one I got, is in max format, not 3ds max, so I can't even import it into unreal unfortuately through Blender as blender only has 3ds not a max plugin..
IT seems to me that the small game developers have to not only worry about Copyright Law infringement, but also have to worry also about patents infringement, and also trademark infringement as well by the bigger fish that are in the pond who set up all these ridiculous rules on everything to dictate what you can make, what you can publish and so on.. It's just a dog eat dog world. There's really no friends that I see here...
So we can't just model up any old item in Blender for our game if it has a company trademark symbol on it or some company is going to want to sue or threaten us if we publish the game with it, and the patent restrictions are worse. So to me its just looks like a big truckload of endless legal tape entangements when it comes to developing a video game for the commercial market. The more patents that there are from these video game companies, the more chances of your ideas overlapping into them when you create something yourself and the more licensing fees you probably have to pay.
So by setting up all these patents all I see is these big companies just manipulating the market and trying to shut small game developers out of it by restricting what they can make or sell, Maybe that's why some developers choose freeware or creative commons to do their developing in.

these tunes would suit car racing games,
souns like rachet 'n' clank style of music in some places.

It is extremely complex to do speech synthesis. the computer software programs are not really
that good at it. But it's ok if you just only want speech synthesis as a prototype to test diaglog
before deciding to hire out voice actors for the diaglog (which is alot more expensive).
