There are quite a few more sites which might publish something like that, especially in other languages.

omgubuntu, linuxfr.org, jeuxlinux.fr, etc

I might contact them once I have some time (but don't let that stop you from doing the same in case I don't do it).

Strange. Which art where you looking at?

Maybe your browser is configured to automatically open links of a specific type in the browser.

Was it a .ogg or .mp3 file by any chance?

In which case, you might be able to save it directly by right-clicking on it and then "Save linked file as..." or something similar.

In the "File(s):" section, under the preview and description, just before the comment window.

Wow, things evolved a bit quickly here.

Thanks to qubodup for investigating things a bit, and to the developers, Christopher and Andrew for coming here to clear things up.

Qubodup might have overreacted, but at the same time, I think he was right to try to make sure it was not a scam, even though as you said, he probably should have contacted you first.

We are discussing not releasing to Linux anymore.

Please don't do that. First of all, it is the only platform you currently support. So removing support for it is kind of stupid and you will loose whatever users you already have.
Secondly, as estelar57 pointed out in the comments section on indiegogo, you stand a lot to gain from the open-source and GNU/Linux community:

And the target audience for the campaign is not only musicians wanting an affordable/free alternative, but also linux, open source advocates and contributors who want to pitch in (even if they are not musicians).

I am not a musician, but I am willing to support your project as a member of this community, looking forward to all the music it may lead to. :)

Linux Audio has proved to have many of these types of attacks for us. I am not sure I want to bare it anymore. The Linux audio crowd is full of fighting and accusations very similar to what we got today.

We have been accused of stealing peoples code, not giving attribution, being scam artists and simply not existing. All by people who shoot first andf ask questions later. Sure people appologize, but how many times do we need to go through this?

I am all full of being attacked by Linux audio and other developers.

Well, for what it's worth, I (granted, not a member of the "Linux audio crowd") have advertised your campaign here and at http://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2950
You are also mentioned on Ubuntuvibes, as well as here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1946197

Man I am really not happy with this guy right now :)

Somehow, the smiley confuses me here. ^^

P.S.: It looks like your campaign page is up again, no? Is it ok to donate there again or not?

Naev perhaps?:

I'm pretty sure there are many others, but that's the first one that came to my mind, being featured on Freegamer so often.

P.S.: The captcha is ambiguous: "What is the last letter of the alphabet?"
Which alphabet? :P

Ok, thanks.

I hope this can get fixed.
