If you saw this show up earlier today, I acidentally double-posted and somehow managed to mark both previous uploads for deletion (one of the previous uploads is still around but seems to be inaccessible).
I've updated the title to reflect the fact that this contains more than just item sprites, and also attributed a tutorial I found very useful while building this.
