Also, I'm also doing commissions right now and will have to prioritze them first of course, so it might take some time for me to get your background started and ready too.
Here I just done literally what you said and just redrew the cape and rotated the body a bit as he's falling, it doesn't look that good imo, but if that's what you want to go with it's not for me to judge.

I think it actually looks pretty cool, kind of a BoI vibe but still original.

If you are interested in backgrounds too, I can do those but I personally have no idea how to put those in a genesis game.
