Furnace Tracker supports almost every old soundchip from the 70's, 80's, and 90's in existence. You can layer them too, and have for example four C64's playing at once in the same song. Controls are just like other trackers.
Your "first" track is so cute! Real authentic vibes! It reminds me of the level theme from Door Door.
It just seems a bit like competition for no purpose, really, at least to me . . . it never really felt like any of the assets or themes were needed for anything special. And winning depended mostly on who could grab the most attention for their entry.
That's a problem with this site in general, it always feels like nobody cares about anything, even when there is lots of downloads like m7600 says. There are actually many viewers here it seems, they just never comment :O
And while these graphics look very nice, I'm neither sure what to use them for :O I think it will also be hard for people to create matching assets by themselves, making them not that general purpose, but that doesn't mean they are bad :3
Keyboard remapping worked perfectly on my linux version! I went on to beat the hard mode, somehow you managed to turn a bunch of spheres into a pretty challenging boss :3 Didn't realize until now that the ending was this deep philosophical thing :O Being both extremely lazy and full of self-doubt, I like to see someone with a different perspective :'3
Well I have one suggestion, if you added the ability to remap controls, I think I could play this a lot better and would try it on hard :3 with the current controls the jump button is to the left of the attack, and in my games its usually always the opposite, so it made me play very badly :3

For that kind of style, you are basically there already! But I don't know exactly what you are going for.

Don't worry, yours is just as good and I didn't think it had to be made that fast :3
Sara's hula!
Hopefully August, July seems a bit intensive right after the spring one, if its for August I might try to draw the banner for it then, however.
When will summer 2021 game jam be held? July seems a bit early after the spring one didn't end before June.
