Your switching from right handed to left handed when you change facings. It my look incongruis. It also my not match the player equipment screen if one is used. Switvhing hands may be OK with knives but would it work in a sword. And it would realy fail if you have a sheild in the let hand.
I know there are a few buildings, I've looked at them in blender, I may modify the shed to be placable in L shapes and other layouts. I.E. adding a gable and joiner set. Got to start somewhere.
The flare git rep is a dead link. How do I get flare maps to work in Tiled. I've loaded the png and can drag and drop but the thing thinks all the 3 high walls, 4 high bildings etc should me laid out flat. It makes building a pest. I'm trying to learn how to do the basic map building first.
I'm a real noob not a programmer. I want drag and drop for everything :) Just lazy I guess.
I tried tiled the png and they aline wrong they can be loaded individually but I still get a stepped effect. The top apears to be 50 x 100 but the tiles are 57 x 100. I assumed there's a trick, an off set or something but I dont know how to find it. I can't unpack flare tile sets for easy use either.
I'm a real noob. I'm old enough to remember when this game style was new and cutting edge. I predate space invaders but I'm not a good programmer.
Thanks I wanted a compehensive tile set for some basic learning on how to do Isometric games, this will help.
Someone said on a libertarian blog that you can't do free market politics because you can't do sim city with tax level set to zero. I think that may be fun to challenge that Idea in a game like this. But I can't write code to save my life and don't know much in the way of useful programming :( In other words I know the economics but shouldn't be doing the game. Wish me luck I'll need it.
Ok its working now so I guess I'm right. I also found my linux guide book in the process. I may have created to installations though because if I start the game in terminal I get the one with my saves and if i search it on the desk top I get one with no saves and no UI changes.Weird but hey It means I could have 8 charater saves. lol.
The problem appears to be the libsvg dependancies that are the problem the i dont know how to get them with th linux version I have. The sodu command listed does not work??? I cant find them on the add remove software for some reason.

I'm having huge problems installing the game:
Its in the downloads folder but the comands I've been given by the guy that wrote my linux version wont work.
