so I'm nearly done with the basic tiles and soon will move onto the colour and more complex design but before I do I would like to know if there will be loops and if so how large should I make them?
its all good. I have the colour pallet for the genesis and I have been working on sonic style tiles similar to that of green hill zone so once I finish the set I'll send it your way for you to have a look and judge.
I'm interested in helping out however as I m developing my own game you might need to wait a little before I can submit any art. if possible could you provide some footage. Do you want classic sonic style or more custom and unique? I can do either.
would this be big enough for the loops?

ok so after playing it a bit I noticed a few things
1: some tiles don't line up properly which doesn't effect the game in any other way other than it looks bad.
2: going up hills when not running takes FOREVER

am I the only one who thinks these would be great for a Mario game? these look great. AAA quality.
why do I feel so nostalgic? oh right. Metriod and Castlevania were my jam. keep going I would love to see this finished
