Ftr there is more in there than the single pic indicates. (would be handy if it)

Also if generated, care to put the source out there? It could be useful for, for instance adding some random parameters for generating more variants, or parameters for just tweaking a bit, or (less likely generating nearer to the moment of play.(For instance before a campaign, after downloading, during the game) (My two contribs basically both consist of scripts with some example output.)

Nice!

I like the media(stuff that scatters, absorbs, possibly refracts) here, though, also like the isosurfaces and how 'textures' are generated. But i guess i should look at blender aswel..

I used povray to render this as planets, adding clouds and atmosphere.

I noticed that it doesn't 'spread out' on the north and south, so it doesn't quite look right on the poles.

Btw, you're doing some kind of autogeneration here? I used povray to generate the whole thing including surface, but i am just guessing(so far) what might work if you want to add rivers or stuff, and i think it might make it slow, generating the surface texture directly is probably better.. I tried to add the ice caps from my older planet on this one, but it didn't work.

The ice caps worked just by estimating the temperature and declaring it ice when it is below some value. Temperature was principally determined using the integrated level sunlight(inproduct with normal of surface.) Well i guess you can look at the .pov file and see a temperature function, and stuff if you want.

Alright i should whine less... People could use gimp batch can pull it apart a little, and it is a lisp :) Looks like a scheme implementation but doesn't say specifically.. Would be neat to use in a library-like fashion, if it's good. (Which i suspect)

Nice.

Still, it might be more convenient to make the pupil and iris separate. Separate blood vains would be nice too. That way you can change the color of each of these, either during the running of the game, or before, by manually editing or compositing it. The color can be added with "convert -colorize 0,100,100 to_be_colorized.png colorized_output.png". I guess that it might be more convenient for many to have the eyeballs pre-composed, but please put a little of the raw data for out there for those who wish to use them directly. (And for the pic on this website, of course.)
