While the new OGA 2.0 is pretty spiffy, I think it is starting to rip my eyeballs apart. I'm a very heavy right looker, so with the bar being on the left side I keep having these eye spasms where my eyes want to look right but are attracted to the large bar on the left. Could we please have an option for a right side bar?
If we don't get the right side bar, can I ask for content that is centered on the window? I keep my browser on a wide aspect ratio and having all content left justified makes it hard to switch between other centered websites and this one.
Amazing thought squared - add a cash prize based on the number of entrants, encouraging others to encourage others to participate, further enhancing the gain to OGA art banks in the process.
eg. if 10 entrees from distinct sources are submitted, the resulting first place prize will be ~250$, but if 50+ entrees from distinct sources are submitted, the resulting first place prize will be 1000$
Lot's of cool stuff here and maybe my use of the word plot was a tiny bit liberal but hey! It's the writing forum, I can do that!
These karma posts give me an idea,
You are an alien in human form, but everytime you touch another human you destroy them and assume their body.... the game has two endings, one where you try your hardest to live the lives of the people you assume so no one is hurt from the loss, or the one where you use your abilities to cause world wide havoc.
maybe it could be possible to bring the people back after you assume them, but it would be exceedingly difficult and you would most likely assume other people trying to unassume one, resulting in a near impossible but cool ending....
The only issue I see now is the perspective groups when browsing 2D art. The current categories are context based (sprite work, map tilesets, icons and textures) but there are two perspective based categories - isometric and top down. While isometric is a category that is used properly - the majority of the art inside is indeed isometric - the top down category is slightly misused. It's turned into an isometric and misc perspective category. Do you agree that both isometric and top down be removed from the browse list and turned into filter options? This could lend a hand to those less known perspectives like the ones used by ultima style games.
Also, can we have something tell us who uploaded a certain piece of art in the chance they upload someone else's art and only provide an author name and no contact info. We could find out who uploaded it and ask them. That is, if I'm not being blind and that already exists. If that's the case disregard this entire last paragraph ;)

You sir, are fantastic!
Also, great artwork...
I always thought that medal's not being superceded was just a quirk of OGA, but if they do supercedes in OGA2, then I will be very happy :)
Also, fingers crossed for a quick acceptance!

*facedesk* I knew I was being blind! And those collection ideas sound grand, very cool.
