You just have to write my surname (Doudoulolita) somewhere in the game or in the game files.

It would be nice of you to give the link to your game if you have a website presenting it. I would be happy to discover your game.

Unfortunately, Ultimate Smash Friends , for which I designed this montain, has no more programmer, so I don't know if the game will continue in the future. If you developp with python and pygame, would you like to join the project ?

I had to test my pattern by making a big texture, and I thought it could be useful for people who have no graphic skills to get a big texture without any efforts. Sorry I was wrong to do that.

Thank you for your advice about lighting effects, I will try to think about it next time I take pictures to make patterns.

Have you put the picture you reworked on opengameart, can you give me the link, please ?

I have news from Tshirtman, he doesn't have time to developp USF anymore. He couldn't find another developper. He is sorry because he likes your work and mine.

On Ubuntu's forum, in the Ultimate Smash Friends topic, last news from Tshirtman are from october 29.

He is often on this topic : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1107651&p=22, you can ask him what the game will become.

Thank you for all your comments. I really used these pictures as a base to animate 2D sprites. I import the pictures in Inkscape and animate my sprite upon a new layer. I just have to turn the limbs and head according to the pictures.

I think a large number of visitors of this site can draw 2D sprites or model in 3D but it's really difficult to find free references for animation. That's why I did videos (at first for myself).

Photos have better resolution but it's difficult to get the good poses, I already tried.

I made other videos with my nephews and nieces who are much better actors than me (they jump higher!) but I cannot put them on the site as they are under 18.

See http://opengameart.org/content/hit-frames-after-a-video to see the result.

MoikMellah's comment about the clothes and the background is very interesting and I will remember it if I make future videos. The movement must be easier to understand.

I'm going to change the category as he suggests and also the license to please Guyome41

Try to make videos like that, and then extract pictures, you'll have fun and it helps a lot to learn animation ! But I must confess I'm not a very good model for a game, except to make the panda style !

He seems rather simple when static but he moves really like a man !

Hello,

If your game is free, feel free to use Sorlo as your main character. It would be nice that you make a note somewhere in your game credits to tell my name.

If you intend to ask payment for your game, please make a free Linux version or keep your game open source if you wish to use Sorlo .

Ultimate Smash Friends doesn't use this version of Sorlo anymore.

I would be happy to see videos of your game and to have the link to download it, especially if there is a linux version.

@robertinventor : I didn't see at once that Bounce Metronome was to buy, I hope it is open source !

It would be nice to make a free version for Linux, especially if you use copyleft or creative commons elements !

Thank you in advance.
